Stir Fried Choy Sum

  • 3 tablespoons oil
  • 3 garlic cloves, peeled and minced
  • 12 choy sum or about 12 ounces, cleaned and cut into 2 inch-lengths
  • salt and pepper, to taste


Heat canola oil in a wok on high heat and stir in garlic. When garlic is golden, stir inĀ choy sum. Stir in a few drops of water and season with salt and pepper to taste, stirring well. Serve hot as a side dish with steamed jasmine rice.
