CSA Begins in June!

Attention all CSA Members: Get your cookbooks ready; CSA us about to begin!

For PVF East, whether you’re picking up from one of our dropoff locations or picking up at the farm, CSA will begin Monday, June 6.

For PVF West, CSA will begin on June 14.

If you’re picking up at the farm: you should have received an email from one of us letting you know what day you’re picking up, how it works, and general guidelines to remember.

If you’re picking up from a dropoff location: you should have received an email from your host letting you know the pickup address, hours your share will be available, general rules and guidelines for that location, and contact information for your host.

If you have not received an email, please contact becky@potomacvegetablefarms.com and we’ll get you sorted out.

We will send a weekly list of what we predict we will be picking and a few recipes.  If you do not read at least the first few sentences of these weekly messages you might miss some important news — like when we have extra canning tomatoes available to be ordered, or whether we are cutting down a tree and we have temporarily moved the CSA system to a whole new location.

Those who ordered cookbooks will find them in their share on the first day.

Flowershares start on the first day.  Everyone who ordered flowers gets them on the first day.  The second week will be the group that ordered flowers every week.  We’ll leave clear notes.
